Along with traveling, they share a love for sports. In between Lightning and Yankees games, she spends most of her days practicing with her son for hockey.

Irene Wheaton, Secretary

Irene joined PTA 12 years ago to be more involved in her daughter’s school and has loved every minute of being a part of the PTA and volunteering at the schools.

Over the last 12 years, she has held different positions on the PTA boards, chaperoned countless school field trips some not all the glamour’s ( a trip to the city trash plant), volunteered in classrooms, media center and along the way she has worked with some very talented people organizing school events.

She has been married to her husband Matt for 17 years and has 3 amazing daughters. Our oldest Hailee is a Junior attending the Academy of Finance at Northeast High School while also enrolled in college classes, Sofia is going into the First grade, and Emma is our littlest one and can be seen around school campus helping her volunteer with the PTA.

Irene looks forward to being a part of the Lynch Lions PTA and helping create lasting memories for all students and families.
